[ANY-002]How can I resolve fuser unit-related errors (error codes 170~177)?

To resolve fuser unit-related errors (error codes 170~177) in the ANY-002 printer, follow these steps:

Error 170 to 177: Fuser Unit Errors

Error Occurs Immediately After Power On:

  1. Check Thermistors:
    • Inspect the upper, lower, and frame thermistors for any defects. Check if they are shorted or opened internally.
    • Measure the resistance value at the connector pins in the bottom of the fuser unit. Refer to the resistance check section in the manual.
  2. Reinstall Fuser Unit:
    • Ensure the fuser unit is pressed in until the connector at the bottom is securely connected. Re-set the fuser unit if necessary.
  3. Temperature Considerations:
    • If the printer temperature is below 0°C, turn on the power again after the temperature has increased.

Error Occurs Approximately 1 Minute After Power On:

  1. Check Temperature Increase:
    • Verify if the fuser unit gets hot by touching it carefully. If it remains cold, check the resistance between specific pins of the connectors.
  2. Replace Fuser Unit:
    • If the fuser unit does not heat up, replace it. Use the System Maintenance Menu FUSE KEEP MODE if attempting a trial with a new fuser unit.
  3. Check Thermostat and Halogen Lamp:
    • Inspect the thermostat and halogen lamp for any issues that might prevent the heater from controlling its temperature.
